Mick Dunn Motor Repairs is a family-run business with a 40-year history in Mackay. We provide a full range of automotive repair, maintenance and diagnostics services to the local community. Open Monday to Saturday, we service customers at our shop in East Mackay. All our services are reasonably priced, while we provide upfront estimates for peace of mind and transparency.

  • HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO REPAIR MY VEHICLE?

    Every automotive maintenance, diagnostics and repair project involves different steps, which can impact how much time it takes to complete. We complete most diagnostics and maintenance work within a few hours. Repairs can take anywhere from a day to a week, depending on the complexity of the job or the need to order parts.

  • CAN I GET AN UPFRONT PRICE ESTIMATE?

    Yes, we provide estimates when you inquire about our automotive maintenance and repair services. In some cases, we may have to assess your vehicle for a more accurate estimate.

  • DO YOU DEAL DIRECTLY WITH INSURANCE COMPANIES?

    Mick Dunn Motor Repairs provides you with an estimate for maintenance and repairs. You submit the claim to the relevant insurance company. When you get approval for the quote, bring your vehicle in for servicing.

  • WHO WORKS ON MY VEHICLE?

    At Mick Dunn Motors, we only employ fully qualified motor technicians to work on your motor vehicle. We may have apprentices assisting on certain jobs, but there is always a qualified technician in charge.

  • HOW DO YOU GET THE PARTS FOR MY REPAIR JOB?

    Depending on the nature of your automotive repairs, we may have to order parts to complete the job. Our team orders these parts on acceptance of our price quote. There are instances where we already have the parts in stock, which results in a quicker turnaround.

  • IS THERE A WARRANTY ON THE WORK YOU DO?

    Yes, Mick Dunn Motors offers a guarantee on all work. We provide more details about our warranty at the time of service.
